Africa has been the most popular country for Russian and Ukrainian doctors who want to find a job for the last 10 years.

Typically, Africa includes countries of the former British colonies, where the British medical system is still present together with the Soviet approach.

Population speaks English and understands Russian, and this is also an important factor.

Only in these countries, we can be freely proud of our background and knowledge, and use the utmost respect in comparison with other expats. You can find many industrial plants of the USSR and the first wave of immigrants. For example, many black children have Slavic names after the doctor who took birth or treated family.

Undergo training in tropical medicine for 3 months.

If you start learning from scratch - the time to process the material can range up to 6 months.
You must have a specialty. Today, Zambia and Malawi do not take doctors for an internship as it was a few years ago. Get specialized in Ukraine or another country. This will have the advantage in wages and employment.
