Probation Post-Graduate Medical Training for Doctors in the Republic of Maldives

Ukrainian Medical Council in cooperation with Ukraine Maldives Business Council starts recruitment of young medical intern-doctors and undergraduates of medical universities for traineeship in the Republic of Maldives.
Young doctors with an experience of 1-3 years, regardless of their specialty are invited to participate and to be selected as a candidate.

Probation Post-Graduate Medical Training (Traineeship Practice)
The purpose of the program:
Acquaintance with the work of  Hospital department, organization of working process and new methods of patients’ treatment in the real conditionsof English model Foreign Clinic.
Duration of training - from 2 weeks.

The program includes:
• Possibility to get to know about the work of the Department, management for working processes and new methods of patients’ treating.
• Daily rounds participation.
• Participation in training courses organized for the doctors of the Department.
• Coordination of the program by the doctor of the department and Russian-speaking Ukrainian Medical Council staff representative.

Within this practice, the doctor/student doesn’t have any right to participate in the treatment process of a clinic. Trainee has the only opportunity to observe the work of Maldivian doctors and ask relevant questions.
Accommodation in the guesthouse, exclusive rest, night fishing, spearfishing, islands travels.

Requirements to the candidates:
• Three years of medical education at the medical faculty,Intern-medical Doctors, young doctors with an experience of 1-3 years.
• Knowledge of the English language.

Applicants for participation in the program are selected. Departure of selected groups is arranged once per 2 months.
